Justin Bright

President

Justin started his career with Bright & Company I, Ltd in 2004 as production manager and investor relations manager. Transitioning to American Legend Homes in 2009. He is currently on the Board of Directors for Bright Industries, Bright Realty, Bright Capital Group and American Legend Homes. Justin holds a B.A from Texas A&M University and is currently the President for the Easterwood Foundation at Texas A&M.

Parker Bright

Executive Vice President

Parker began his career with Bright Realty in 2006 and helps lead the daily activities of Bright Industries. He is currently on the Board of Directors for Bright Industries, Bright Realty, Bright Capital Group and American Legend Homes. He holds a B.S. from Texas A&M University. He is a licensed real estate broker in Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado.

Zach Bright

Executive Vice President

Zach began his career in 2019 as Assistant Asset Manager and worked his way to becoming Executive Vice President of Multifamily Operations for Bright Realty overseeing all daily activities of Bright Realty’s Multifamily division. He is currently on the Board of Directors for Bright Industries and Bright Realty.

Ginger Koons

Vice President

Ginger started her career in 2008 as a property manager for Bright Realty, then later transitioned to Hospitality Director of The Lakes at Castle Hills. Currently, she sits on the Board of Directors for Bright Industries. Ginger attended Texas A&M University from 2003 -2007. She is married to her husband, Tommy, and has two children.

Katie Bearden

Vice President

Katie began working for Bright Industries in 2011 as marketing manager. She currently is the president of Castle Hills Schools Foundation and helps plan events for the Castle Hills Village Shops. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Dallas. She is married to her husband, Billy, and has two children.

Michelle Sandmann

Chief Financial Officer, Secretary & Treasurer

Michelle is the Chief Financial Officer of Bright Industries and has been with Bright since 2015. Prior to Bright, Michelle spent 15 years with EY providing tax and consulting services to privately held businesses and their owners. Michelle received her B.S and M.S in Accounting from the University of North Texas.

Jorge Sanchez

Director, Information Technology

Jorge began his career with the Bright family of companies over 20 years ago as Network Manager for Bright Truck Leasing. In 2010, he transitioned over to Bright Industries as IT Manager, and was promoted to IT Director in 2014. Jorge holds multiple certifications including virtualization, ITIL and Project Management.

Harvey "Bum" Bright

1920-2004

Harvey Bright was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, in 1920. After graduating from high school, Bright worked in the Texas oilfields. He later entered Texas A&M University and received a degree in petroleum engineering in 1943. Later he used the $6,500 he had saved from his Army pay and began trading oil leases with his college roommate. The two men eventually started Bright & Co., an exploration and production company, which would eventually become Bright Industries.

Clay V N Bright

1954-2020

Clay, son of Bum Bright, enjoyed life and knew it was about service, work, and family. Most of his work centered around a family related business, where he began and ended his work career. He was instrumental and guided the transition of that business from a primarily oil and gas and banking operation, to one based upon real estate homebuilding, and finance. His dedication and insight to those operations is irreplaceable. He lived for most of his life in Dallas where he graduated from Highland Park High School and his lifelong beloved alma mater Texas A&M University.

Christopher R Bright

1952-2022

Chris, son of Bum Bright, oversaw Bright Realty, as well as its parent company, Bright Industries, as CEO. He led the daily activities of Bright Industries, which was founded in the 1950s by his father, the late former Dallas Cowboys owner H.R. “Bum” Bright. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 1971 and later the University of Dallas in 1978. He began his career with STM Mortgage Company, where he supervised STM’s real estate construction lending operations, and commercial loan placement and underwriting.

Stuart H Bright

1978-2022

Stuart, son of Clay Bright, was born in College Station, Texas, on August 16, 1978. He grew up in Dallas where he graduated from Highland Park High School. He then graduated from SMU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Stuart was the CEO of Bright Equities, LLC and a key Board Member of Bright Industries.
